It took a lot to surprise Lisa these days. But she was shocked. She was about to walk out to start a show. Matt had assembled her in something close to her original body, as best as she could remember, long legs, generous curves but not the barbie look that she was built up in so often. Since I've run out of chapters of The Button, here's something completely different. And yet, not so much.
I seem to end up writing stories about magic items that have fairly specific functionality - but that work in a consistent and specific way. Then I came across this statement: "Magic should have an activation roll - otherwise, it's technology."
